European HBB on DVD

Hi people.

I'm new around here and I'm looking for HBB shows or/and clips etc.

I have about 20 DVDs with clips from the european HBB with Vanessa Warwick from 1990-1993. Unfortunatelly there's no full shows on them and I don't have a complete list of all clips on them at the moment.
But they have videos, interviews and tour/festival reports and some of the bands featured are Testament, Queensryche Iron Maiden, Vixen, Anthrax, a Dark Angel live video for "We Have Arrived", Overkill, Extreme, Sepultura, Slayer, Skid Row and alot more.
There's is few other things on these DVDs as well, like swedish metal interviews and reports, some are in english if it's about a foreign band.

I'm interested in both american and european HBB shows/clips.

Thou, I don't have time or the capability to burn parts of the DVDs, I'll only copy the whole DVDs straight off.

For a trade deal I was thinking something like 1 DVD for 1 DVD, 2 for 2, 3 for 3 etc. As simple as it can be. As I said, right now I'm only able to trade up to 20 dvds as that's all I have.
If anyone's interested in these DVDs just PM me or write something here in this thread, and we'll see if we can come up with a good trade.

I would love to trade for some of those, but unfortunately my DVD player will only work with NTSC videos.

hmm, i wonder if i can copy them on NTSC. i have to check that.

I'm not an expert on this but I think you can convert PAL to NTSC pretty easy, but I believe that there's a good deal of quality loss when it's done.

Yes, I'm sure there is some loss, though I have one European HBB (the German metal special) which presumably was converted from PAL and the quality is still quite good. I'll have to try and see if I can convert the one you sent me, or maybe just get myself a cheap player that plays PAL.

there shouldn't be any quality loss. have you tried using dvd shrink? i've bought several alt region discs from japan, and england and changed them over to Region 1, and have had no quality loss

Keir: so you're up for a trade even if it's PAL? Do you have a list of the episodes you got?

It cuts the quality down and really should not be done.You can find a cheap dvd player that places all regions.There are so many great bootleg concerts on Pal you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't pony up and get a dvd player that is regionfree.
