I'm almost 31.I stopped wearing metal shirts after high school.I still love metal but stopped dressing that way a long time ago.Never had earings or wristbands.I did use to have longer hair.No tats either.
I was born in 77 so that might be the difference.I take it that you are a lot younger then some others on the board.

This is me: OK, so I don't normally look like that, but I do have long hair and I wear metal shirts about half the time that I'm not at work.

I am 33 and I still dress metal. But, I am a petite 5'0", and I will have to say I am better looking than I think, because most of my guy friends, my hubby's friends, and his co-workers have breathed my name and "hot", "pretty", or "cute" in the same sentence. And most of the time, that was when I was at my "metal-est". LOL so being a girl has its advantages. I rock the metal look straight up, but that's prob because it is what I feel from my soul and outward. You can't fake a passion like that and pull it off, you will look fake somewhere along the line. I am truly metal and it shows.

I guess I still dress metal at times but not all the time. I probably would if I could though. I'm a guy and I do still have my long hair so I represent at all times in that way. I still have alot of metal t-shirts and my old leather jacket and everything but I don't wear them everyday. If I'm going to a concert or something like that I will rock the metal look. But I'm not gonna show up at a wedding in an iron maiden tshirt, even though I do have some friends where doing that would probably be acceptable LOL! And I wouldn't show up at an Iron Maiden concert in a tuxedo LOL! I guess being a little older now I'm more aware that there's a time and place for everything. You know what I mean?

Hello all. I still dress more or less like a headbanger, even at 35. As a freelance journalist I have the choice to show my metal pride most days. Most of the time I will only wear a band shirt when I'm going to see a band because I treat my shirts like souvenirs. Anyway, if you're into metal and love old school headbangers ball as much as I do then e-mail me at: hitechgeek81@gmail.com to get a FREE copy of my magazine that talks about heavy music. From Slayer to Cradle of Filth, its all there.
LA'TA (exaggerated later)
