Does anyone remember when this aired? I was watching it looking for clues and there is a commercial for Poison on Mtv Unplugged for that night. I looked it up and it says 12/13/90. That's a Thursday. Seems unlikely. There is also a commercial for movie awakenings, it says "starts 12/20.

Strange. I have the Monsters Of Rock Sunday show from December 1990 and it also has an ad that says Poison is on MTV Unplugged that night.
The HBB list says "1/12/91 Top 20 Year End Countdown with Jani Lane of Warrant". Maybe it was a repeat?

I have the same show. It seems as if both shows were on the same day. I think it is 12/16/90 because both shows have the same trailer for the movie awakenings that it says premeires 12/20/90. Also, there are several commercials for a Bon Jovi concert that ended on 12/20/90. I see on the board that there is a 12/15/90 show with Testament. I don't have that show. Maybe someone that does can check the last few minutes to see if they mention any of the upcoming shows.

Vice looking back through some of the information I've got, the Year End Countdown show w/Jani Lane on 1/12/91 was a repeat. But I'm not sure of the date on it when it first aired though.

On the playlist, it only lists 17 songs for the Top 20 of 1990.
Could somebody list the Top 20 for that year?

Unfortunately, the recording I have is missing #19 and 20, but here are #18-#1:
18. Poison - Unskinny Bop 17. Faster Pussycat - House Of Pain 16. Ratt - Lovin' You's A Dirty Job 15. Kiss - Forever 14. Cinderella - Shelter Me 13. L.A. Guns - The Ballad Of Jayne 12. Aerosmith - The Other Side 11. Scorpions - Tease Me, Please Me 10. Motley Crue - Don't Go Away Mad...(Just Go Away) 9. Winger - Miles Away 8. Warrant - Cherry Pie 7. Slaughter - Fly To The Angels 6. AC/DC - Thunderstruck 5. Queensryche - Empire 4. Faith No More - Epic 3. Poison - Something To Believe In 2. Aerosmith - What It Takes 1. Motley Crue - Same Ol' Situation (S.O.S.)
I'm going to guess that one of the missing videos was Judas Priest - Painkiller, since they keep playing it in the promos for the show.
