Has anyone tried to put a date on this episode? Nearly all the ads are cut out which makes it a bit harder, but there is one for a Motorhead contest and the deadline is12/1/87. Also, the first video is a World Premiere of Dio - All The Fools Sailed Away. I know that one aired in the 11/21/87 episode so this has to be earlier than that, but probably not too much earlier. Since the 10/10, 10/17, 10/24 and 10/31 episodes are already known I am guessing that the Motley Cruise To Nowhere episode is from either 11/7 or 11/14.

I don't have this episode but I believe have some shows where they are promoting the contest for the Motley Cruise To Nowhere. So, I'm not sure of a date on this show either. I haven't got any information that I remember sent in that would help. I have at least part of a show of Kevin Seal hosting with Lemmy and Wurzel from Motorhead and I think they show alot of contest ads for the Motorhead Bang Your Head Against The Berlin Wall I think that was what that contest was called. If you can pin down the date on the Motley Cruise To Nowhere episode let me know and I'll list it on that date until we know otherwise.

Yes, I remember seeing the ads for the Motley Cruise To Nowhere. Unfortunately, there is no info about when the cruise episode itself would air. I can’t seem to narrow it down beyond either 11/7 or 11/14.

Steve Deske and Mary Ann Rizzo win MTV’s Mötley Cruise to Nowhere competition and join the Crüe on a five-hour luxury boat cruise in the Bermuda Triangle, following a private cocktail party at the ritzy Elbow Beach Hotel the night before. Two wild cross-dressers attend the party, one who designed costumes for the band and happened to win a contest and one who later goes on to front The Toilet Boys as Miss Guy. The contest winners are driven around in limousines and given $1,000 spending money.So, we know when the cruise took place but still not when the motley cruise to nowhere episode would have aired. It is probably one of the 2 dates you mentioned but now it's just figuring out which one. |
